December 2022: Holiday Party

SASV is looking forward to brighter days coming soon! We're ordering a catered brunch in celebration of the winter solstice.

Join us for this first in-person winter solstice event in almost three years! We want it to be both a warm welcome to anyone who's been thinking of coming to SASV, and a heartfelt thank you to all our members who have continued to support us in myriad ways.

We’ll gather at our usual Mountain View location at 10:00 AM, a half hour earlier than we meet for Assembly. Unlike past winter solstice events, this year we are making it free. If you’d like to help offset SASV’s costs, you can contribute a donation.

Get your ticket here.

In addition to enjoying brunch together, there will be a candle-lighting ceremony, holiday sing-alongs, a "Solstice for Nerds" presentation, Life Happens, and group games, including People Bingo.

Please bring a few candles, if you have them, for the candle-lighting ceremony.

Masks are recommended when not eating.
